Many clients wish to learn how to effectively promote their own websites. Typically this is done mostly by emails and phone calls between the client and myself. "Two Thousand Dollars!" 98% of the visitors here will go into shock. Sorry about that, but 98% of all internet web pages are failing to make any money. My sites are in the top 2% of all web sites and are succeeding. Success requires knowledge and experience or the willingness to buy the knowledge and experience of others.
$2000 (USD) buys you at least 5 web pages. The most important page is the main or index page. That is where the most intense part of my work will be done.
Graphics, yours or mine, are included in the price.
Text and graphic links are also included.
Building your web business includes my studying your category and determining how to present it to the public and exactly how best to promote it.
The basic project will require about 100 hours of my time (about $50 per hour).
Minimum job is 2 pages ($1000); this is a basic startup site.
Shopping cart : My favorite shopping cart is the MerchantOrderForm by Russell Alexander. It is incredibly flexible and server based .CGI (common gateway interface). This is far beyond the capabilities of a simple order form. It handles taxes, shipping, adding and subtracting from orders, lots more. Must be installed on a secure server. Basic installation of shopping cart: $1500. This does not include the ordering pages.
Simple order or response form web page: $250 each:
If you are accepting credit cards or want your visitors to complete a form and have the replies sent to your email box you will need to have an order form or a response form. These forms are totally customized to your individual needs. We do not use templates.
Promotional Banners $35 each.

Web Promotion:
Search Engine Positioning requires much more work than the simple act of "submitting" web pages to a search engine or directory. Submission is easiest and last step of a complicated and difficult process. Each search engine has different standards by which they judge how well your page will do in their listings. The same page that earns a top 10 listing in AltaVista may be given position 200 by Google. Professionals in the business of search engine positioning are (or should be) constantly studying the present requirements of the various search engines and using this information to get good listings for their clients. Our focus is on the biggest and best of the search engines: Google.com. The site will also be submitted to other search engines, but the traffic and sales will be mostly from Google and its affiliates.
Maintenance:
Without periodic attention, due to constant competition and changing rules of the search engines, the quality of the listings on the search engines tends to decay. Top 10 positions can drop to 20, 30, 50 or even lower. To counteract this problem the pages will need to be upgraded, edited and re-submitted to the search engines. Our minimum monthly maintenance fee is $350. This monthly retainer fee includes supervision, editing, resubmissions, suggestions, consultations on an as needed basis. The larger the web site the greater will be the monthly maintenance, but on a reasonable graduated scale. Maintenance fees are due and expected on the first of every month.
