Typically this is done mostly by emails and phone calls between the client and myself.  The cost of the phone calls is at the client's expense. The fee is $90 (USD) per hour. The total cost for training sessions varies considerably depending on what aspects of website promotion are covered.  Consulting is done on a pay-as-you-go basis using prepaid checks major credit cards. Signatures are required. It took me about 7 years of intense  study to develop and sharpen my web promotion and design skills. I've been working with computers since 1978, starting with the IBM 370 mainframe, 2 years before the advent of the PC (Personal Computer).   I can teach all of the important basics in just a few hours a week and a few weeks of intensive sessions.  Present and past clients say that I am a very good teacher. (Lots of references on request). The client must have an internet connection and a separate voice phone line so that both the client and I can see the same pages at the same time. The client must also have a "wysiwyg" web editor.  It is also important that the client have FTP access to his web host server.
